Navratri special- Rajgira Thalipith


Rajgeera flour- 1 cup

Sweet potato boiled and mashed- ½ cup

Groundnuts coarsely crushed- 2 tbsp

Ginger-green chilli paste- 2 tsp

Cumin seeds- ¼ tsp

Coriander chopped- 2 tbsp

Ghee/oil- 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Water to knead the dough.

Curd – ½ katori


Mix flour, mashed sweet potato, groundnuts, ginger-chilli paste, cumin seeds, coriander salt and ½ tsp of oil/ghee and start to knead it.

Use water as required.

Spread it on a plastic sheet or directly on tawa as you do with regular thalipith.

Shallow fry it ½ tsp of oil/ghee on both sides.

Serve hot with curds.
