Healthy vegetable Poha cutlet

INGREDIENTS –

Rice flakes – 1 cup

Boiled potatoes – 2 small

Paneer – 5-6 pcs grated

Carrot – 1 small grated

Peas – 1/2 cup boiled

Beet root – 1 small, steamed & grated

Rawa – 2 tbsp

Black pepper powder – 1 tsp

Garam masala – 1 tsp

Chat masala –  1 tsp

Red chilli powder – 1 tsp

Ginger – 1 inch

Garlic – 3-4 pcs

Green chillies – 1-2 no.

Lemon juice – 2 tsp

Bread scrums – 2 tbsp

Coriander chopped finely

Oil – 2 tsp

Salt to taste

METHOD –

1.Place a rice flakes in a sieve & wash it thoroughly with water for  few seconds. Keep aside for 10 mins to make it soft.

2. Take boiled potatoes & mash it properly.

3.Put mashed potatoes in a bowl & add soaked rice flakes, grated carrot, boiled peas, steamed & grated beet root, grated paneer,bread crumbs,salt to taste, black pepper powder, garam masala powder, chat masala, red chilli powder, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, chopped green chilli, coriander & lemon juice. Mix all ingredients until well combined.

4.From this mixture make cutlets from generous portion.

5.Coat this each cutlet with rawa & keep aside.

6..Heat oil in a non stick pan, shallow fry this cutlets till gets golden brown from both sides.

7.Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney or tamarind chutney.

In this you can also use left over pohas at your home.
